It's easy to subscribe to a Community Solar program!
About
Community members who participate in or benefit from the solar project can enjoy lower energy costs over time. The subscribers will receive $0.02 per kWh off their Nova Scotia Power Bill for the solar electricity they subscribed. This is at no cost or term of commitment for the solar subscription to them.
The subscribers must be current customers of NSPI in good standing with the utility who are not participating in any other solar programs (such as net metering).
Subscription priority will be given to First Nation and marginalized communities, then nearby residences and finally to the general public and business.
