Project development is complex and involves a wide range of environmental and regulatory considerations, as well as electrical and civil engineering due diligence. The General Partners of AI Renewable select the clean or renewable projects eligible for CRCE, with financially feasible investment objectives, and work with the most experienced developers in the industry to ensure the success of the project development.

Currently, AI Renewable is actively seeking opportunities to invest in Combined Heat and Power (CHP) projects.

How does CHP system work?

CHP is an energy efficient technology that generates electricity and captures the heat that would otherwise be wasted to provide useful thermal energy—such as steam or hot water—that can be used for space heating, cooling, domestic hot water and industrial processes.

Traditional systems operate at an energy efficiency between 40 to 45%. But they can be as high as 90% if using CHP

A CHP system offers three key benefits:

    • Cost savings on annual electricity and thermal usage
    • On-site power generation, enhancing your energy reliability
    • Predictability of long term energy costs

In simple terms, CHP systems work by utilizing an input of fuel or natural gas into the engine and converting it into two outputs: electricity and heat. The latter is then used for either cooling or heating purposes for the building or facility where the system is installed, while the electricity is used to power the building or operation.
